Packaging & Carton Box Finishing Options

Every carton in the portfolio above was printed and finished at our factory in Sungai Choh, Rawang. Choose the effects that suit your product and we combine them with the right board and box structure.

Hot stamping

Gold, silver, rose gold and rainbow foil stamping, plus metal hot stamping, add a reflective logo or pattern to a printed carton. Our Brause Nikko 1050 EF machine does both automatic die-cutting and hot stamping.

Spot UV, varnish and lamination

Spot UV, UV varnish and high-gloss coating make a logo or graphic stand out against the printed surface. We also offer soft-touch, gloss and matte lamination, and run special UV coating on our Daiya 3F machine.

Embossing and debossing

Spot bevel, spot emboss and spot deboss raise or sink a logo, wording or texture into the carton surface. Logo, wording and soft-touch embossing samples are in the portfolio.

Die-cutting and special shapes

The portfolio includes special-shape die-cuts, die-cut holes, logo die-cutting and flute box die-cutting. We die-cut on fully automatic machines (Brause Nikko 1050 EF, and the SH-1060SE with stripping) and on semi-automatic machines.

Food-grade, paper and board materials

We provide printing on card and carton board and specialty materials, including food-grade, foil-based, art-card, metallic, textured and fancy paper, with UV ink printing and special coating.

What packaging printing finishes can Smart Print produce?

Available options include hot stamping in selected foil colours, Spot UV, UV varnish, high-gloss coating, soft-touch, gloss and matte lamination, embossing, debossing and die-cut shapes. Final options depend on the material and approved artwork.

Can you make custom die-cut shapes?

Yes. Our portfolio shows special-shape die-cuts, die-cut holes and logo cut-outs produced with automatic and semi-automatic die-cutting equipment.
